Jake Thomas

Jake Thomas is a seasoned electronics engineer with over 30 years of diverse experience in analog and digital hardware design, systems architecture, FPGA, and low-level embedded programming. He has worked extensively in professional and consumer audio, as well as in image and video processing, solar technology, motor control, and test equipment. Jake ran his own consulting business from 1998 to 2011, which now operates on a more limited basis. Passionate about technically intriguing projects that have ethical implications and benefit society, he is currently on a break from formal employment, indulging in personal projects like home audio, physics research, gardening, hiking, baking bread, and learning the piano.
