Maurício França

Maurício França is a partner and founding member of L.E.K.'s São Paulo branch, with 20 years of experience advising senior executives across multiple consulting firms and investors in the Middle East. He specializes in healthcare, airlines, private equity, and telecom. As head of the healthcare practice at L.E.K. in Latin America, Maurício advises payers and providers on various strategic issues, including planning, design, and optimization. He also supports pharmaceutical and medical device companies with issues like market access, innovation, and portfolio optimization. In the travel and transport group, Maurício focuses on airlines and new mobility, working closely with leading airlines on issues including alliance planning, loyalty, revenue, operational management, and maintenance strategy. Additionally, he has advised over 40 M&A transactions in recent years and has a deep understanding of the key drivers of successful private equity acquisitions.

Maurício received his Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Unicamp in Brazil and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. When not working, Maurício enjoys reading about economics, philosophy, science, and psychology.
