Molly Laufer is a growth marketing consultant with over a decade of customer acquisition experience across a range of consumer tech companies and startups. A former military officer, Laufer is disciplined and has strong attention to detail.
Laufer studied Foreign Affairs and Russian at the University of Virginia before starting her career as a Division Officer at DESTROYER SQUADRON 23, US Navy. She then moved into marketing, working as a Social Media/Content Marketing Manager and Digital Partnerships Manager at NatureBox before becoming Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and then Director, Customer Acquisition at the same company. She then transitioned to Director of Offline Marketing at HomeLight and Director, Client Strategy at Oxford Road before starting her own firm, Laufer Direct, where she currently works as a Growth Marketing Consultant.
Laufer's expertise and experience lie in acquiring customers through offline marketing channels. Her channel experience spans linear & connected TV, audio (including podcast, streaming, terrestrial, and satellite - both endorsement and produced audio), direct mail and OOH. She is passionate about the inflection point when a company begins to diversify their acquisition portfolio outside of digital channels and is ready to dip their toes into emerging/offline marketing channels to achieve scale without compromising performance metrics. Laufer has directly managed 7-figure monthly media buys across a diverse set of offline channels with a focus on return on ad spend and marketing profitability.
