Tanyella Evans is on a mission to democratize access to literacy by disrupting the cycle of poverty using technology. She is the co-creator and Executive Director of NABU, a publishing network that strives to put mother tongue books at the fingertips of children in low bandwidth environments. Tanyella has a background in non-profit management, research, strategy, training, tools, and investment for non-profits and social entrepreneurs. She has been recognized for her work as a 2015 Forbes' 30 Under 30 Social Entrepreneur, 2015 Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award recipient, and 2014 Echoing Green Fellow. Tanyella gained experience leading development programs around the world in countries such as Haiti, Uganda, and Greenland. She holds a degree in political science from the University of Cambridge.
