Douglas Booms

Douglas Booms is a seasoned corporate development executive with a wealth of experience. Currently, he is the Vice President of Worldwide Corporate Development at Amazon.com. In this capacity, he is responsible for driving the company's international growth and strategic partnerships. He oversees a team of professionals who are responsible for evaluating potential acquisitions and investments, developing investment strategies, and managing partnerships.

Prior to joining Amazon, Booms was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse where he worked on M&A transactions, capital raisings and private equity investments for clients in the technology and healthcare sectors. He previously held a similar role at UBS where he advised clients in the financial services and technology sectors. He has also held leadership roles at other well-known financial firms such as Abbey National and Lehman Brothers.

Booms holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
