Kristy Totten is an Emmy-winning journalist with a wealth of experience in print, radio, and television writing. She obtained a Bachelor of Journalism degree in Magazine Editing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Totten has written for various media outlets such as NPR, Rolling Stone, Thrillist, Artsy, and Vice.
She currently serves as a Producer and Opinion Editor at The San Diego Union-Tribune. She has also worked as a News Producer at Nevada Public Radio, a Staff Writer at Las Vegas Weekly, a News Editor at CityLife, and a Reporter at Las Vegas Review-Journal. Totten is also a co-host of the food and culture podcast, Spicy Eyes, during her free time.
In addition, she has volunteered as a mentor, demonstrating her desire to give back to her community. Totten's expertise lies in journalism, writing, editing, podcasting, and mentoring.
