David Greene is a highly experienced editorial professional, with 35+ years of exceptional excellence producing, editing, and developing news and entertainment programming for public radio. His skillset includes developing news standards, producing and directing different types of programs such as morning shows, sports programs, and weekly entertainment shows, directing and producing live broadcasts, editing and producing radio features, breaking news spot coverage, and much more. David has worked as an Executive Producer for Morning Edition at the WBUR-FM Boston, which he developed and made successful through an editorial strategy that puts the audience's interests first. Before that, he was responsible for developing NPR's standards and establishing the local on-air presence and broadcast schedule for an NPR affiliate station in Massachusetts, among others. From 2000, he has worked as Editor and Producer for NPR's Car Talk, the most successful entertainment program in public radio history. He studied history and government at Oberlin College and high school at Montclair High School.
