Jonathan Jew is a highly experienced telecommunications consultant with over 30 years of experience in the IT infrastructure planning and implementation space. He specializes in data center telecom and IT infrastructure planning and data center relocations. In the industry, he is recognized as an expert in several fields, such as data center telecommunications infrastructure. He studied BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley.

Jonathan has an impressive list of accomplishments, including co-chairing TIA TR-42.1.1 data center working group where he was a primary contributor to American National Standard - ANSI/TIA-942 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers, and the primary author of two addenda. He is also the editor of ANSI/TIA-942-B and editor of all addenda to TIA-942-A. Jonathan chaired TIA TR-42.6 telecommunications administration subcommittee, where he co-authored ANSI/TIA-606-A-1 – administration standard for data centers, and was the editor of TIA-606-B telecom administration standard. He was also the Vice-chair TIA TR-42.3 and Secretary TIA TR-42. Jonathan was the co-chair BICSI data center subcommittee, and he was the lead editor of international and American National Standard – ANSI/BICSI-002 Data Center Design and Implementation Standard and Recommended Practices. Jonathan is involved in developing the International Telecommunications Standard for Data Centers – ISO/IEC 24764, where he serves as the U.S. National Committee Project Lead. He is also the editor of administration and data center sections of ISO/IEC 14763-2 cabling installation and planning standard being developed by ISO/IEC JTC1/SC25/WG3. Jonathan is a recipient of the 2010 The Harry J. Pfister Award for Excellence in the Telecommunications Industry, awarded by the University of South Florida, College of Engineering, and BICSI. He's also received an award by TIA for contributions to the TR-42.1, TR-42.3, and TR 42.6 subcommittees.
