Peter G. White is a renowned Canadian citizen, well-versed in business, journalism, government, and politics. Born in Brazil, White studied at Lycée Jaccard, Port de Pully, Lausanne, and later completed his B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from McGill University. He pursued his law degree from Université Laval in Ll.L.

White founded a weekly newspaper in Quebec and became the co-owner of the Daily Record newspaper in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He also served as an executive at the Hollinger group of newspapers for over twenty years, following which he was appointed the publisher of Toronto's Saturday Night magazine. In his career, he was the director of various public and private companies in Canada.

White also had a significant government career, serving as a special assistant to federal minister Maurice Sauvé and Quebec premier Daniel Johnson. He was the Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and the Special Assistant for Appointments in PMO.

In the voluntary sector, White served as the past chairman of several think tanks and NGOs, including Public Policy Forum, Ottawa (founding chairman), Institute for Research in Public Policy, Montreal, Canadian Institute of International Affairs, Toronto, Council for Canadian Unity, Montreal, and Canada France Business Club.

White co-founded the Teatro Speakers Series in Calgary, an offshoot of the Grano Dinner Series in Toronto and a similar series in Montreal with Daniel Langlois. Being awarded the French Legion of Honour, White leads motley crews through complex challenges, leveraging his years of experience in business, journalism, government, and politics.
