Mehrdad Arjmand is a Ph.D. graduate in Engineering Mechanics from the prestigious University of Wisconsin-Madison. With over five years of research in Materials Research Science and Engineering Center sponsored by NSF, he has had significant experience and accomplishments. Prior to his career at NovoMoto, a for-profit social enterprise that provides clean electricity for off-grid rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa, Mehrdad was a Consulting Engineer at Seisco. He has also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at UW-Madison. His expertise lies in mathematical modeling of semiconductor thin films and nanowires. His skills include research and development of semiconductors and renewable energy, software development, and financial modeling. He brings with him a broad range of experience and unique perspectives in the fields of engineering and finance.
