Debbie Lai is an accomplished executive with an extensive and diverse professional background. She studied economics at Brown University and pursued Playwriting and Screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles. Throughout her career, Debbie has worked for reputable organizations such as Act Now Coalition, Google, YouTube, Tsinghua University, and Sony Pictures Entertainment in various roles. She began as a legislative intern under U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer and moved on to other political internships at the Savantas Policy Institute and Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL). Her passion for politics and analyzing policies contributed to her policy strategist and policy analyst positions at Google. She used her legal expertise at Sony Pictures Entertainment and later transitioned to Google as a strategic partnerships development manager. Debbie's extensive experience in policy and strategy led her to her former honorary senior research associate position at University College London.
