RevenueAnalytics works with companies make big revenue decisions in pricing and inventory to drive millions in revenue uplift. I work mostly with the Media vertical. I designed and built microservices using Python (Flask) deployed as AWS Lambdas, worked on UI for revenue management using Angular. Implemented several application framework essentials-- promoted and implemented performance enhancements (e.g. use of threading and parallel lambda calls); automated testing in continuous integration (i.e. Postman in Jenkins); custom monitoring and notification; system interfacing with media vendors (e.g. Hudson, Triton), etc.

Revenue Analytics, Inc.

Incomm's platform provides connectivity between point of sale systems, service providers, and consumers at more than 450,000 retail distribution centers worldwide for unique gift-giving opportunities. Consumers activate prepaid products, pay bills, and enjoy real-time discounts through loyalty programs by utilizing the platforms Incomm developed.

Our team supports both the evolution and continued development of existing platforms as well as the design and delivery of new applications in an agile environment.

My specific responsibilities within the team include development (design/code, RPM builds, deployment scripts, new server builds),  team management (training and knowledge transfer, design review, code review, production issue diagnosis, task allocation among team members, application documentation) and release management (requirements gathering/analysis, sprint planning, creation of JIRAs and features in ServiceNow and deployment plans).

Several accomplishment examples:
-  designed and developed caching system using Hazelcast server
-  solved terminal software download failures by eliminating message queuing and implementing FTP with fail validation and system retry
-  greatly enhanced Active MQ performance by proper heap management and queue configurations
-  improved data synchronization between applications with threads and batch queries (performance improved from several minutes to mere seconds)
-  implemented terminal device shipping automation, monitoring and tracking (used FEDEX WS API)
-  improved performance by eliminating shell scripts causing deadlocks and implementing them within the Java application
-  converted Ofbiz-specific screens to primefaces with templates and role-based permissions
-  developed REST interface for public-facing web portal using Spring (Spring Boot, Swagger)

Worked with the following clients: SeaWorld, Adventist Health System, Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and CVS Caremark.

Responsible for the installation, configuration, and operation of all CA Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solution (includes CA Introscope/Wily and CEM) for the customer; develop custom applications, plugins/extensions based on customers' needs; managed the triage, diagnosis, and root cause analysis of any and all application performance problems; provide documentation and knowledge transfers of architectural design, deployment plans, and implementation procedures. This work required 90% travel.

Developed custom Java/JEE web application with a multithreaded  backend and uses  SOAP webservice, JDBC,  JSON/jQuery, Log4J, and Quartz scheduler; developed multithreaded  extensions/plugins to support CA products.

When not travelling, involved in developing in-house software, management and administration of virtual machines in ESX server, setting up and maintaining APM demo environments. Also developed company's website and wiki site and also responsible for its configuration and administration.

CA APM Software Subject Matter Expert

Responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the custom Travel Distribution Platform (TDP) system for United Airlines. Responsibilities included resolution of issues both from production and staging/development and development of new features--both involved analysis, design and development; built comprehensive automated component and system tests for every functionality developed; and technical documentation for application components as well as delegation of tasks to team members. TDP is a middleware that uses a proprietary framework that is built using Java/J2EE which uses technologies like EJB, SOAP webservices, xdoclet, JDBC, Castor XML, JUnit, Cobertura and implements inversion of control principles through its own bean policy configuration files. Spearheaded improvement of system integration test suites to 97-100% passing rate from a passing rate of 85%+.

Major features developed for <a href="http://United.com">United.com</a>: service that allow consumers to book using both money & mileage rewards; upgrade of ITA QPX from version 3.7 to 4.1; also developed a single-entry service that caters both to booking with miles only and miles and money. This work required 20% travel.
