Rima Deodhar is an accomplished software engineer with a strong educational background in Computer Science. She holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from Fergusson College, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Science from Santa Clara University. Throughout her career, Rima has gained valuable experience working for top technology companies such as Cockroach Labs, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, and NetScout Systems.

During her time at Facebook, Rima was a Software Engineer, where she honed her skills in developing, testing, and maintaining software products. Prior to that, she served as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where she worked on complex software development projects, managing code releases and implementing testing strategies. Rima also excelled as a Software Development Engineer-Intern at Amazon, gaining hands-on experience in software development, testing, and debugging. At NetScout Systems, she was a successful Software Engineer-Intern, supporting software development teams with coding, testing and documentation tasks.

In her current role at Cockroach Labs, Rima specializes in distributed systems, database technologies, and cloud computing.
