Ryan Atkins is a highly skilled and compassionate board certified Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) from Illinois. He attained his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science after graduating with honors in Liberal Arts and Sciences from City Colleges of Chicago-Harry S Truman College. He has extensive experience in hospital-based medicine, including a prior role as an emergency department technician at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center. He is team-oriented, knowledgeable and passionate about advanced healthcare principles, procedures, and techniques for patient illness and disease assessment, treatment, and prevention.
Ryan is dedicated to continuing his education, with a particular interest in hospital-based medicine. He has attended the annual Advocate Trauma Symposium and often learns through educational materials provided by respected organizations such as the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants.
