Suzanne McDermott is an experienced artist, musician, teacher, coach, and writer with a background in fine art, music, cultural history, and personal growth. With over 25 years of experience in teaching workshops and courses across the United States, Suzanne has taught diverse groups of students and clients, ranging from senior citizens to professionals and from museums to historic properties. Suzanne is a pioneer in online education, having developed the first online drawing and watercolor course in 2010, and has since developed many subsequent courses on various subjects related to her areas of expertise. Her strengths include instructional development, content composition and presentation design, research, investigation, and discovery skills, creative project design and management, and innovative approaches to online education outside of dedicated eLearning platforms, among others. Suzanne approaches creative projects, teaching, and coaching with empathy, intuition, responsibility, and encouragement, offering life-changing experiences to her clients and students.

Suzanne has an extensive professional background, having worked as a personal coach at The Pivoting Creative, artist, writer, teacher, singer-songwriter, director, independent singer-songwriter, and administrator at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has also created and produced multi-media live events, online courses, book projects, solo and group painting and museum exhibits, musical recordings, concert and lecture series, live musical performance and theatrical work, drawing, watercolor, illustration, songwriting, and music composition.
