Jess Bouchard is a talented and dedicated trauma-informed teacher with a passion for making learning accessible and equitable for all learners of all backgrounds. With a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Rosemont College and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Concordia University-Portland, Jess has gained valuable experience as a College Advisor, Middle School and High School English Teacher, Program Manager, Grant Writer, Writing Tutor, Social Media and Member Relations Coordinator, Adjunct English Professor, and Writing Center Senior Staff for numerous institutions including BART Charter Public School, Vermont School for Girls, America Scores Bay Area, 826 Valencia, Tutorpedia, The Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture, Akiba Academy of Dallas, North Lake College, Follett Higher Education Group and Concordia University. An advocate for LGBTQ+ and Black Lives Matter, Jess is committed to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
