John Haley is an experienced law enforcement official with over thirty years of experience in the field. He has been involved in various aspects of law enforcement, including field operations, investigations, training, and management. Through his career, Haley has developed and managed programs to measure workload, track staff development, and oversee witness management programs on a fiscal and risk management level. Additionally, he has conducted staff studies and produced strategic plans for multiple work groups and divisions. Haley has experience in emergency preparedness, and he has created and delivered courses to improve management and supervision on topics such as managing difficult employees, supervision and management, threat assessments, emergency planning, managing aggressive behaviors in the workplace, preventing violence in the workplace, customer service, and personal safety and awareness.

Haley's educational background includes a Certificate in Supervision, Management, Executive Development from the West Point Leadership Program, a Certificate in Criminal Justice Management from the FBI National Academy, an MBA in Business from the University of Redlands, and a BPA in Criminal Justice from National University.

Aside from his law enforcement experience, Haley is also involved in other ventures. He owns a business called Help U Swim, where he provides swimming lessons to clients. He has also previously worked as the Manager of Compliance Services at Renovate America and served as the Commander of the Bureau of Investigations at San Diego District Attorney.
