Franklin Murillo is an accomplished professional who has dedicated his career to improving the quality of life for people around the world. With a strong belief in the power of collaboration and innovation, Franklin has worked in various leadership positions for national, regional, and global organizations. He has extensive experience in social development, public-private partnerships, and education.

Currently, Franklin serves as the Global Network Director at the Social Progress Imperative, where he leads collaboration efforts with regional teams and local networks to translate Social Progress Index data into policy-oriented actions across the world. Previously, he was the General Manager of Fundación Gente, a Costa Rican nonprofit seeking to strengthen the national education system through public-private partnerships. Franklin also founded Miguía, a social enterprise that supported thousands of mothers in Latin America.

Franklin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, an MBA and an MA in Project Management from Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología, and an MA in Education and International Development from University College London (UCL). He has received recognition as a Chevening Scholar, a One Young World Leader Ambassador, a Young Challenger by the Grameen Creative Lab, and a Global Thinker.
