Hugh Weldon is an entrepreneur and climate change advocate deeply committed to finding solutions for environmental issues through innovative technology. Weldon holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin, and an Engineering/Industrial Management degree from Politecnico di Milano. He is the co-founder of Evocco, a technology company that engages consumers on climate breakdown through food. Weldon was the former Corporate Outreach and Training executive of Cool Planet Experience, where he worked with big companies such as Intel and Siemens to support climate action implementation. In 2018, he was named Young Champion of the Earth by UN Environment in recognition of his outstanding ideas and leadership on environmental issues. Weldon is also passionate about innovation and testing, evidenced by his experience as an Innovation and Testing Intern at ZF Friedrichshafen and his previous roles as President and Chairman at IURCA Ltd. His expertise in product development and experience as Director of Product at Evocco helps organizations identify and tap into profitable markets while building products that meet their stakeholders' and the public's needs.
