Simon Cashmore

Simon Cashmore is an accomplished senior infrastructure engineer and technical leader with a strong focus on Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Middleware technologies such as application hosting, messaging, file transfer, and authentication services. He led a globally distributed technical engineering team to deliver strategic platforms and components for Middleware hosting services.

Simon Cashmore holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick's Warwick Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Physics from the University of Portsmouth.

With a wealth of experience at prestigious organizations, Simon Cashmore's roles have included Director and UK Regional Head of Middleware, Head of PaaS Middleware Engineering, Head of Application Hosting and Security Engineering, Senior Middleware Integration Engineer, and Global Middleware Lead Engineer at Barclays. Prior to Barclays, he also worked as a Senior Infrastructure Technician at Accenture, an Oracle/UNIX Contractor at JTE Consulting Ltd, a Team Lead/Lead Design Analyst/Consultant at SCT, an Applications Consultant at North West Water Ltd, a Systems Developer at TSB Bank plc, and a Production Manager at Leabro Engineering Company Ltd.
