Peter Stein is a leader at Reunion, an organization empowering rural communities in America's south. Extensively utilizing data, human-centered design, lean methodology, and investment principles, Reliance's programs aim to enhance the physical, mental, social, and economic health of communities. Under his guidance, Reunion more than doubled its funding, quintupled the number of people they've served, and took the lead among peer groups in the same areas. Before joining Reunion, Peter worked for Parata Partners as an Investment Associate, PI Financial Corp as an Equity Analyst, and served as a Research Assistant at the BC Ministry of Small Business, Technology, and Economic Development. Stein was also Co-Chairperson of the Canadian chapter of the global venture fund Acumen called Vancouver+Acumen. He received his BCom from the Sauder School of Business, where he served as the 20th President of the UBC Finance Association. In his free time, Peter is an avid hockey goaltender and enjoys tennis and cycling.
