Dmitry Barashev is a seasoned software engineer, lecturer, and former Google executive. With expertise in Kotlin, Java, TypeScript, Go, and PostgreSQL, Barashev has hands-on experience creating complex distributed backend systems, full-stack applications, and desktop applications. He holds a PhD in computer science, informatics, databases, and a Master's degree in applied mathematics from the University of Saint-Petersburg. Barashev has worked for several renowned organizations such as JetBrains, Borland Software, TogetherSoft LLC, and Infomind Ltd. He currently teaches courses on database systems and big data software engineering at top Saint-Petersburg universities such as ITMO and HSE, and lectures at Computer Science Center.
