Matthew Harker discovered his passion for cooking as a child while spending time in the kitchen with his Calabrese and Galician grandparents. Today, Harker is the owner of The Suites At 550, a personal chef and event design business in the Boston area, and a member of The Chef's Collaborative. Harker's worldwide exposure and adventurous nature have greatly influenced his style and palate, which he incorporates into his cooking, baking, and catering for his clients. Harker studied public relations, marketing, and theater studies at Emerson College, culinary science at Johnson and Wales University, and has professional acting, voice over, and vocal experience. He is a nationally recognized public speaker, coordinator of yearly national fundraisers, and has culinary and event production experience with major companies such as Motorola, Warner Brothers, and Universal Pictures.
