COMPANY:
Designer and manufacturer of semiconductors and various integrated circuits with over 43K patents worldwide, $13B in annual revenues, and close to 30K employees.

OVERVIEW:
I was hired based on my prior experience and overall proficiency with graphics. As a Lead Illustrator for TI Designs, I created graphics (using Visio, DPlot, and Corel Photo-Paint XS) and technical drawings of schematic depictions for such items as computer peripherals, including motherboards, chipsets, drivers, and processors. 

Working extensively to bring graphics up to TI’s standard, I have created numerous PowerPoint presentations and email templates to explain what is needed from our team of engineers. Additionally, I train our engineers and illustrators on various graphics functions, developing training materials and how-to packets.

I maintained 2 up-to-date Wiki sites for illustrators and TI Designs, respectively (powered by www.mediawiki.org), as well as assisting other illustrators with various activities.

Key Challenge: Ensuring a smooth workflow in the timely receipt of correct files from 30 different writers and 100+ engineers, including extensive communications with the team and illustrators on other teams.

I was hired directly out of college to manage all aspects of design projects, from concept and design to production and delivery. In these projects, I interacted directly with customers to determine their preferences and design customized graphics for their personalized apparel, including shirts, caps, and other items. 

I utilized Direct to Garment, Ultraprint, and Vinyl printing and production methods, ensuring top-quality outcomes at all times.

Local museum in Lufkin, TX with several thousand fossil specimens and an estimated 60K visitors per year.

OVERVIEW:
I was accepted for an internship with the museum based on a recommendation from my Typography professor at Stephen F. Austin State University. In this position, I created and developed various public displays for museum set pieces and settings through the use of Adobe Illustrator. Within a collaborative environment, I worked with previous designers to finalize visual projects and assets.

HIGHLIGHTS:
★ Reworked and updated existing graphics, identifying and correcting errors in some of the museum’s existing graphics files and pieces.
★ Worked directly with the owner of the museum to ensure that layout and design concepts throughout the museum fulfilled his vision.
