Jocelyn W. Cowie is an accomplished CEO, medical massage therapist, and researcher with extensive expertise in physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, pathology, and acupressure massage. Her life's work involves helping people in pain and educating both her patients and students about pain relief techniques. Jocelyn has worked with many professional athletes and has a reputation for achieving extraordinary results with massage therapy, treating musculoskeletal pain, and using pressure points to manage common disease complaints. She graduated from the West Coast College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1985 and began researching the physiological mechanisms that govern massage efficacy for pain relief. She has also chaired the Massage Association Research Committee and authored several papers on the topic of pain management.
