Saurabh Dhawan

Saurabh Dhawan, MD is an experienced invasive cardiologist with a background in medicine, cardiovascular disease research, and internal medicine. Dr. Dhawan specializes in left and right heart catheterization, transthoracic, transesophageal, 3-dimensional, stress, and dobutamine echocardiography, cardiac SPECT, and PET imaging, and vascular diagnostic imaging. He has expertise in carotid duplex, peripheral arterial duplex, renal duplex, and abdominal aortic imaging. Dr. Dhawan has conducted extensive research in atherosclerotic plaque imaging and vascular biology at Emory University and has published over 35 peer-reviewed scientific publications in top-tier cardiology journals. He has presented his research at numerous local, regional, and national conferences, including the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Dhawan obtained his MD from the University of Mumbai's Seth G. S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and finished his fellowship in cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular disease research at Emory University School of Medicine. He currently works as an invasive cardiologist at the Cardiovascular Clinic of North Georgia/Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
