Nastasya Tay is an experienced journalist, storyteller, and founder of creative collaboration the extra-ordinary. With more than twenty-five countries across four continents under her belt, she has become well-versed in telling various stories and adapting different formats and genres. Nastasya's work encompasses a wide range of topics, including breaking news, long-form features, food, travel, culture, design & lifestyle, and human interests. Her primary focus is on people and society's struggles with conflict, inequality, poverty, and environmental destruction.

Nastasya holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA (First) in Politics and Southeast Asian Studies from SOAS University of London. Her extensive professional background includes working as a Senior Presenter at Al Jazeera Media Network, Senior Correspondent at Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia, Features & Investigative reporter at Eyewitness News (EWN) and Producer at BBC News. Nastasya has also worked as a Correspondent, writer, producer at Freelance, and television and print/Producer, reporter at The Associated Press.

Furthermore, Nastasya has worked on various non-journalistic roles, such as Media and Communications at CIVICUS, advocacy and research roles at Amref Health Africa - UK, Royal African Society, Reproductive Health & HIV Research Unit (RHRU), University of the Witwatersrand, and Centre for Chinese Studies, University of Stellenbosch. She has also served as an Intern in different organizations, including the office of the Prosecutor at UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and Africa & Development Divisions at Human Rights Watch.
