Dan Hertzka

Dan Hertzka is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background. He holds a Master of Science degree from the Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Ecology from the University of Maryland, and has studied Biochemistry and Chemistry at Montgomery College as well as Anthropology at St. Mary's College of Maryland.

Dan has a rich professional history, having worked in various roles at prominent organizations. He was a Lead Programmer, Gameplay and User Interface Systems Programmer, Tools Programmer for Unreal Engine, and User Interface Programmer for Paragon at Epic Games. Additionally, he served as a Lead Programmer at Neon Night Riders. Dan also gained experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Maryland Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research.

Beyond his contributions to the gaming industry, Dan has demonstrated versatility by working in different capacities, including as a Climbing Instructor and Front Desk Staff at Earth Treks Climbing and Fitness, Resident Assistant and Student Counselor at St. Mary's College of Maryland, Congressional Intern at the Office of Congressman Brian Bilbray, and Restaurant Server at Cheeburger Cheeburger.

In addition to his other roles, Dan Hertzka is a Co-Founder and Engineering Director at Lightforge Games, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership qualities in the gaming sector.
