Marc Buckley is a climate activist and resilient futurist with a passion for empowering global citizens to live sustainably within planetary boundaries. He was trained by Al Gore as a Climate Speaker and serves as an advocate for the SDGs and a member of the Innovation and Agriculture, Food, and Beverage Expert Network at the World Economic Forum. Marc is also the host of the Inside Ideas video and audio podcast, produced by OnePoint5 Media and Innovators Magazine. He interviews thought leaders, innovators, and game-changers tackling global grand challenges such as sustainability, environmentalism, regenerative agriculture, systems thinking, and new economic models.

Marc has studied at Singularity University, Futur/Io Institute, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of Phoenix. He comes from a long line of organic farmers and European Hydroponic Agronomists and has also taught entrepreneurs how to build and grow sustainable and profitable businesses.

In addition, he has served as a board member, advisor, and consultant for various organizations promoting sustainable practices, including Aleph Farms, UNFCCC, Berlin School of Sustainable Futures University of Applied Sciences, FIDU - Federazione Italiana Diritti Umani, and GlobalCitizen. Marc's aim is to reform the agriculture, food, and beverage industry with impactful projects and moonshot companies, such as the ALOHAS Resilience Foundation and the ALOHAS ECO-Center - a sustainable food and beverage production company using circular economy principles, cleantech, renewable energy, and resources without greenhouse gas emissions or waste. He specializes in innovation and scale transition and consults for companies in their renewable transition journey.
