Joe Mantilla is a seasoned Senior Business Advisor with expertise in resolving complex issues and driving revenue for clients. He has an MBA in Business Management from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies/Int'l Relations from the University of Central Florida. Joe's experience and knowledge covers a diverse range of sectors, including investment banking, finance, defense, infrastructure, and infection control technology.

Before joining Reed Smith LLP, Joe was a Senior Managing Director at Dentons, where he worked on policy issues related to infrastructure, aerospace, finance, homeland security, and DOD matters. He worked closely with the firm's LATAM, capital markets, IP, and venture capital practice groups. Joe also served as a Principal for Petrizzo Strategic Group, a government relations consulting firm, and as a Senior Aide to former US Senator Mel Martinez of FL. In his role, he managed policy matters related to aerospace, macro infra, eco dev, and Puerto Rico.

At Zimek Technologies, Joe was Vice President of Government and Corporate Relations, where he managed government relations matters and the company's executive advisory board. Additionally, he has served as the Director of Government Affairs for the Orange County, FL, Sheriff's Office, managing policy matters and serving as the Sheriff's executive liaison to the National and Major County Sheriff's Associations.

As a Senior Business Advisor with Reed Smith LLP's Financial Industry Group, Joe represents clients in strategic capital investments, joint ventures, market penetration into LATAM, and IPOs. He also works with investment banking clients interested in P3 partnerships within the US and LATAM.
