Currently, Dode is the Local Coordinator for a World Bank-funded project aimed at improving and facilitating trade in West Africa by supporting trade reforms and process streamlining at Ghana Ports.

In the past, Dode served as a Private Sector Advisor for Trade Africa, assisting Ghana's Ministry of Trade and Industry in implementing trade facilitation reforms in line with the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
