Brent Gorda is a seasoned technical business leader with a wealth of experience working at the forefront of computing, networking, and storage. With extensive leadership experience, ranging from individual contributor to CEO, Gorda has held key executive positions in the technology industry, including Managing Director at CEO Quest and General Manager of the High-Performance Data Division at Intel. He is currently leading the worldwide HPC business for Arm, where he is spearheading efforts to change the nature of High-Performance Computing with a different business model.

Gorda also has extensive international experience, having led multinational teams and created companies in different countries. He is a fan of globally distributed teams and has worked with some of the best talent from around the world. Gorda is a co-founder of Software Carpentry, a not-for-profit foundation helping people make use of technology, and the founder of the Student Cluster Competition, a world-wide event impacting the careers of thousands of undergraduates each year.

Gorda holds a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta and has studied PhD Studies from the University of California, Davis. His expertise lies in technical business leadership, High-Performance Computing (network and storage), and international business.
