Phu Tranchi is a seasoned multicultural educational leader, with experience as a teacher and administrator. With a focus on student-driven, experiential learning, Tranchi has achieved success in pedagogical and curricular development, problem-solving, and programmatic innovation. Tranchi has excellent relationships with faculty, students, and community, supported by adept quantitative and qualitative abilities, as well as proficient verbal and written communication skills. Tranchi holds a B.S. and M.S. in Physiological Science and is currently studying Educational Leadership and Administration in the Ed.D. program at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Tranchi served as the Director of Experiential Learning and Science Teacher, as well as the Secondary Science Department Chair at Oakwood School. Tranchi previously held positions as the Principal of General Studies and the Dean of Faculty and Student Affairs at Shalhevet High School. Tranchi was also the Science Department Chair & Teacher at Shalhevet High School. Additionally, Tranchi served as an Education Volunteer in Kenya, East Africa, with the United States Peace Corps, and previously as a Life Sciences Lecturer at Los Angeles Southwest College.
