Pirouz Piran

Pirouz Piran is a fellowship trained vascular and neuro critical care neurologist, currently undergoing a second fellowship at Johns Hopkins.

He completed his vascular neurology fellowship at Weill Cornell in New York City and his neurology residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he also served as the chief resident in his final year.

Pirouz's area of interest lies in individualizing treatment for emergent neurological diseases based on unique patient characteristics.

His current research is focused on non-invasive measurement of intracranial perfusion, aligning with the personalized medicine era.

He has a strong passion for clinical patient management, and all his research activities are clinically oriented.
