Bourne Lewis - Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Auguste
Bourne Lewis is an accomplished medical professional, educator and researcher with a wealth of experience in internal medicine and adult nephrology. He holds a Master of Science from the University of Toronto where he studied System Leadership and Innovation, adding to his Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Neuroscience from Carleton University. Bourne is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and has previously worked as a Nephrologist at Sunnybrook Hospital, Clinical Fellow at University Health Network, Nephrology Resident and Chief Medical Resident at Women's College Hospital. He's also held several leadership roles including President of the McMaster Medicine Student Council and the CFMS Ontario Regional Representative. Additionally, Bourne takes an active role in mentoring and education, serving as the Hamilton Campus Coordinator at Altitude: Healthcare Mentoring and as a PASS facilitator at Carleton University. In all these roles, Bourne consistently demonstrates a commitment to healthcare excellence and leadership.
