Karen Iles is a highly experienced lawyer and respected leader in the corporate social responsibility, strategy, governance, program design, management and evaluation, advocacy, and inclusion and diversity fields. With impressive credentials and comprehensive legal education, including a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology, Sydney, Karen has made a material difference in the lives of women and Indigenous peoples through her legal and consulting practice Violet Co. She has also held numerous positions in several organizations, including Head of Legal and Management Consulting (Asia Pacific) at Coffey, Director Pro Bono and Responsible Business at Colin Biggers & Paisley, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Australia and New Zealand at Tata Consultancy Services, and Manager, Corporate Citizenship at KPMG Australia, among others. Karen is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has held several not-for-profit Board Directorships throughout her career. Under her leadership, Tata Consultancy Services earned recognition by The Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as one of the Top 10 CSR Companies, and named the number one company in Australia for CSR from the Australian Human Resources Institute.
