Ryan Beck, a former US Army interrogator and Afghan linguist, has built a formidable career in web application development, digital marketing, and branding. Born in Hendersonville, NC, Ryan has always had an affinity for programming, which saw him winning multiple state-level Programming and Design awards before he even finished high school. After his military tenure, Ryan earned a degree in Computer Operations Management from Eastern Illinois University and eventually landed a job as a developer with an advertising agency in Chicago. In 2000, he returned to the Upstate region, where he assumed the role of Architect of Web Applications Development at Nuvox Communications. Ryan's skills and passion for technology led him to co-found his own interactive firm, Mediasation, which later merged with Fuel Marketing to become Fuel Digital Marketing and Branding, where Ryan served as President and Managing Partner, overseeing a team of 38 highly skilled individuals. In 2015, Ryan handed over the managing partner title to focus on leading the custom application development team. Leveraging his experience with digital marketing, application development, and passion for making a positive impact on society, Ryan left Fuel to establish BECK Digital Marketing in 2016. Ryan is also an outdoor enthusiast, a music enthusiast who loves playing guitar, and teaches classes on kinesics. He is an active member of the Greenville leadership and technology communities.
