Mikkel Johansen is an accomplished pharmaceutical industry professional with a broad range of experience in healthcare management, market access, and policy development. With a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Naestved Business College and an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Southern Denmark and the International Business School of South Denmark, complemented by studies at Notre Dame College and the University of Cambridge, Johansen possesses a well-rounded education. After working as an Assistant Product Manager at Diversey Inc and a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative at Amgen, he advanced to progressively more senior roles. His previous positions include Investment Officer for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark in New York, Investment Officer for the same ministry in Denmark, Key Account Manager in Nephrology, Product Manager in Oncology, Hematology and Urology, Head of Value, Access and Policy, Head of Market Access and Public Affairs in Norway and Denmark, and Commercial Lead at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Presently, Johansen is Alexion Pharmaceuticals' Market Access and Policy Director for the Nordic region.
