Responsibilities: Call handling within the financial assistance department of a ‘big four’ UK Bank.The role involved dealing with inbound and outbound calls whilst adhering to the bank’s established framework; it consisted of carrying out ID&V, investigating customer’s information on the bank’s systems including but not limited to verifying memos and transactions, establishing the reasons why the customer has found themselves in financial difficulties, how long they foresee the difficulties to last and eventually making an appropriate judgement decision and finding a suitable outcome such as either placing the account on a hold or setting up a more affordable payment plan.

Responsibilities: Reviewing and calculating redress for PPI Complaints on behalf of a ‘big four’ UK Bank. The role consisted of progressing cases through an established framework, either via an automated or manual process; it involved reviewing data and gathering further evidence, assessing eligibility, calculating the redress due and ultimately producing required response letters.Towards the end of the contract the client had deployed me to their ‘Disputes & Fraud Department’ where I also gained some knowledge and exposure to their complaints process.

Reviewed Insurance Complaints on behalf of a reputable UK Bank. The role included in-depth investigation of the customer’s complaint which involved scrutinising a wide number of banks’ systems, databases and spreadsheets.Nature of the work was highly detail orientated and required strong numeracy and communication skills. Demonstrated excellent organisational skills and capability to manage heavy workloads in a highly pressured and targeted environment. Consistently achieved targets to both productivity and quality. Always strived to improve during the project, evidenced by the continual increase of production output week on week whilst maintaining quality.

During this period, in addition to the property manager’s daily tasks I have also audited the entire company from a document perspective also learning the administrator’s role. I then created a more structured manual in preparation of the training of the new administrators, conducted interviews and consequently trained the successful candidates.
