Stephanie Pride is a professional futurist with a strong background in innovative practices and extensive experience in various sectors across New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.

She is skilled in tailoring futures services to suit the unique needs of each client and has been involved in setting up and leading various impactful projects such as the SSC Futures Programme in the New Zealand state sector and the NZ-OECD Schooling for Tomorrow project, Secondary Futures.

Currently, Stephanie heads StratEDGY Strategic Foresight, a consultancy that assists sectors, businesses, organizations, and teams in anticipating and adapting to change through strategic foresight services, research, and integrity of practice assessments.

Her expertise spans a wide range of disciplines including brain science, psychology, management, creativity, innovation, and learning, enabling her to develop innovative practices to address the evolving needs of the 21st century.

Stephanie's recent projects with StratEDGY include collaborating with organizations like the NZ Stroke Foundation and national institutions on future-oriented initiatives like the future of stroke and digital preservation, as well as conducting research and futures design for Victoria University of Wellington's The Future State.

She holds a PhD in English focusing on literary theory and colonialism from Victoria University of Wellington and a B A Hons in English from the University of Oxford, reflecting her diverse educational background.

In addition to her current role at StratEDGY, Stephanie has held key positions in organizations such as the New Zealand Co-Chair of the Millennium Project, Strategic Foresight Consultant at StratEDGY Strategic Foresight, and Board Member at Shaping Tomorrow's Foresight Network and New Zealand Futures Trust, among others.

Her professional journey also includes roles like Chief Advisor - Systems Change at Secondary Futures, Senior Advisor - Futures at the State Services Commission, and Policy Manager at the Department of Labour in New Zealand, showcasing her wide-ranging experience and versatility.
