Mark Peckman, an experienced General Counsel, has been a part of Schonfeld Strategic Advisors for almost two decades. The investment advisor, clearing firm, and execution broker has grown to over $18 billion in gross market value with a team of 375 members. Peckman leads an 8-person legal and compliance staff to oversee more than 55 portfolio management teams investing in equities, futures contracts, and options contracts in the Americas, Europe, and APAC on a managed account platform. Peckman's expertise extends to handling all investment management agreements, fund formation and subscription documentation, marketing materials, employment, and separation agreements, office leases, confidentiality agreements, general corporate contracts, and much more.

As a seasoned professional, Peckman collaborates with the Chief Compliance Officer to develop and implement a robust compliance and surveillance program, tailored to the evolving business. His skills extend to overseeing the family office's estate plans, directing financing and real estate transactions, managing the personal litigation and employment matters, and serving as a trust committee member for substantial assets held by the operating businesses.

Peckman completed his JD/MBA from Brooklyn Law School and Baruch Business School. As the General Counsel at Schonfeld Strategic Advisors LLC, he has supported numerous business and strategy conversions/restructurings, aiding the business's evolution from a prop trading firm to an investment advisor.
