Elyssa Dole, a former professional ballet dancer, has made a name for herself as a purpose-driven program director, skilled at discovering opportunities and executing strategies that further the social missions of nonprofits, local governments, and businesses. She has a background in community and program development, with experience in creating innovative community programs from the ground up and scaling existing offerings. Elyssa has a passion for linking society, business, policy, arts, culture, and social impact, and building bridges between organizational verticals. Her varied experiences have exposed her to designers, entrepreneurs, non-profits, business and government leaders, community organizers, researchers, scientists, technologists, composers, theatre directors, and musicians. Elyssa has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from NYU Stern School of Business, with a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, business models, and strategy. Besides her MBA, she also studied Visiting Student, Russian Language at Harvard University, and went to Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Her undergraduate degree was in dance from Barnard College. She is currently working as the Community + Programs Director at NationSwell and has previously worked as the Community Manager at NationSwell, Community Strategy, Program Design at SecondMuse, Brand-building, Experience Design, Community Engagement at House of Beautiful Business, and Social Innovation Fellow at Nike Foundation.
