Tara Vargish is an experienced land development engineer and community planner with over 20 years of professional experience. She received her Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Tara has worked for various organizations, including the Town of Castle Rock, where she currently serves as the Director of Development Services. In this role, she is responsible for improving and evolving the Development Services to meet the needs of Castle Rock's growing community of residents and business owners. Prior to her current position, Tara served as the Assistant Director and Project Manager for the Town of Castle Rock. She has also worked as a Project Manager at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., Chief Civil Engineer at Northeast Engineers & Consultants, Transportation Engineer I at Washington State Department of Transportation, and Staff Engineer at Malcolm Pirnie.
