Faraz A. is a talented technical lead focused on developing agile teams and building microservices for healthcare platforms. He has extensive experience in Java programming language and using standard communication protocols to monitor network devices, such as SNMP, ICMP, SSH, Telnet, and FTP.

Faraz was a Principal Software Engineer & Scrum Master for CA Performance Management, where he monitored infrastructure for some of the largest networks in the world. Additionally, he worked as a Software Engineer on a network infrastructure management application called CA Spectrum.

Faraz specializes in developing distributed high-throughput multi-threaded and multi-platform Java / C++ applications. He has experience in test-driven design and development using JUnit and CA LISA Automation tests. Besides, he has expertise in thick client Java Swing UI design, server-side C++, Visibroker CORBA IDL interface between Java and C++ services, and network device configuration management (Cisco IOS, NXOS, Juniper JunOS, etc.)

Faraz attended Abu Dhabi Indian School, where he studied before earning an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business. He earned a BS in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Currently, Faraz is a Software Engineering Manager at Meta, where he is building high-scale messaging microservices for the healthcare industry. Previously, he worked as an Engineering Manager at athenahealth and was a Lead Member of Technical Staff and Principal Software Engineer with CA Technologies.
