Michal Grochol is a former physicist with a strong interest in theoretical and semiconductor physics, as well as in optics. He is experienced in solving various problems in quantum physics using numerical and analytical methods. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Semiconductor Physics from the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, and has also studied at Univerzita Karlova v Praze. Although he currently works in the accounting department of Siemens, his passion for science persists.

Throughout his career, Michal has held several positions such as GBS Junior Specialist and GBS Specialist at Siemens, Software Engineering at itk-engineering AG, Chercheur at CNRS, and Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, among others. He has also been a Research Associate at Michigan State University.

In terms of education, Michal completed his Maturita at Gymnazium in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He is proficient in programming in C++ and Matlab, as well as in using linux.
