Eva Pereira is a professional with a strong interest in cities, data, and policy. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Data Officer for @mayorofla, Eva has a rich educational background and extensive experience in various prestigious organizations.

Eva Pereira holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Urban and Social Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She also studied B.S. in Multinational Business Operations with a focus on Italian at Florida State University's College of Business. Furthermore, Eva obtained a Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language (CILS) from Università per Stranieri di Siena.

Eva's professional journey includes key roles such as Chief Data Officer and Deputy Chief Data Officer at the City of Los Angeles. Prior to her current position, she held the position of Project Manager in the Data Team within the City of Los Angeles. Additionally, Eva has valuable experience as a Manager of Data Analysis at Teach For America and as a Program Associate in the Public Interest Technology Team at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.

Furthermore, Eva Pereira has contributed her expertise as a Graduate Consultant at the NYC Center for Innovation through Data Intelligence, Office of the Mayor.
