Erick MacDonald Filzek is a highly experienced professional with over 24 years of experience in software and information technology, telecommunications, and hardware development. He is the CTO of Wise Home and has won numerous awards for his innovative work in the field of internet of things (IoT).

Erick's expertise includes IT infrastructure design and project management, computer networking, circuit routing, router configurations, voice channels, microwave transmissions, and wireless networks. He is also a skilled programmer with experience in C, C#, Cobol, Assembler, and other programming languages.

He holds a degree in Ciência Religiosa com enfase em Teologia from Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo and completed his Tecnico em Processamento de Dados (PD) in Tecnologia da Informação at Colégio Técnico Network.

Erick's most significant professional achievements are winning the Brazilian IoT Challenge in 2017 with the WiseHome solution and the Global IoT Week in Bilbao, Spain, with the WiseHome Fiesta - Power Consumption Signature Analysis project in 2018.
