Javier Larrasa Alonso, PhD is a highly educated biologist who completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He pursued his Doctorate of Philosophy in Molecular Biomedicine from the same university and completed his research as a PhD Researcher at CNIC - Spanish National Center for Cardiovascular Research.

Javier's professional experience includes working as a Formerly Visiting Research Fellow at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main and as a Formerly Student Researcher at Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas de Madrid - CSIC and Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO). He also studied Clinical Trials Monitoring and Medical Affairs at CESIF and later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ThePowerMBA.

Currently, Javier works as a CRA trainee on behalf of AstraZeneca at IQVIA, where he focuses on Clinical Research and Medical Affairs. Throughout his professional journey, he has developed a diverse set of skills, including the ability to work efficiently in a team, manage time and resources effectively, communicate research results in scientific journals and congresses, and work closely with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Javier has a passion for helping patients, especially those who suffer from rare diseases. His experience in the biotech industry and expertise in molecular biomedicine make him a valuable contributor to the field of clinical research.
