James Singian is a seasoned marketing professional with a social mission. He currently serves as the Recruiting Manager and University/Community Non-profit Partner at COOP Careers, where he specializes in closing the social capital gap and fostering a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce. He has extensive experience in global marketing, having worked as a Digital Marketing Captain at COOP and a Media Account Associate at Just Global, Inc. In addition, he has previously held internships at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., TriNet, and FireEye, Inc.

James has a solid educational background that includes a degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Chabot College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing from California State University - East Bay, and a Digital Marketing certificate from COOP Apprentice. At COOP, he oversees three apprenticeship programs that involve Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, or Tech Sales. In these programs, small cohorts of motivated, underemployed recent grads come together nightly for 19 weeks to learn technical and soft skills, build community, and overcome underemployment.

In the nonprofit world, James truly shines. His passion for social justice is evident in his work as a Non-profit Partner, where he is committed to making a difference in the lives of diverse, low-income, and first-generation individuals who are eager to access the job market.
