Vice President of Marketing

Acquired by Gap, Inc. / At CB4, I led the long-term marketing strategy through series A and B funding rounds, raising more than $28M from Sequoia Capital and Octopus Ventures, and culminating in a successful acquisition by Gap in October 2021.

In 2020, I was promoted to Vice President and asked to take on a second department, Business Development. In this new position, I built and directly managed a team of 11, including global SDRs, Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Design, Sales Operations, Field Marketing, PR, Brand, and Communications. I was also an integral part of HR, Recruiting, and Business Operations, and was a founding member of the CB4 Management Team. 

In this role, I reworked our go-to-market strategy for Covid-19, which ended as a growth year. I helped scale the team from ~$150k to over $15M in ARR in less than four years by leading the company's transition to an enterprise then ABM model, consistently exceeding revenue goals and closing marquee customers.

Vice President, Marketing & Business Development

I was recruited into CB4 as the first marketing hire tasked with establishing the brand and go-to-market strategy. In this role, I founded and led the global marketing organization at CB4 including content, brand, and event marketing.

I scaled the team to include a Content Marketing Manager, Marketing Associate, and Art Director. Together, we revamped our content strategy and doubled down on field marketing, creating a consistent multi-million dollar pipeline for sales.

Head of Marketing

Acquired by SEI / At Novus, I was responsible for all digital marketing, including content, SEO, email, social, and all of the underlying strategy. I built a 25+ person internal editorial team to meet the challenges of creating content for the alternative investment industry where a massive knowledge gap shut out the possibility of working with most freelancers.

My team created the most compelling and readable content in the industry, which was downloaded tens of thousands of times by the biggest and most relevant financial organizations worldwide. I used my digital marketing and channel expertise to get this content in front of decision makers and funnel leads into the sales pipeline.

All told, these campaigns helped Novus add millions to the sales funnel and close marquee customers. You can view the publications that I wrote myself below. All of my work still lives on the website where it is helping the brand create leads today.
